At Neely Traditional Academy volunteering is a very important part of our school. We are always looking for and welcome volunteers. Below is a list of some areas that we really need your support. Please take a moment to review the committees and make a choice to get involved in your child's school and education!! Thank you from the PTO Board for your support! This is a great way to meet other Neely families and make friendships!
Box Tops
“Box Tops” has helped raise thousands of dollars for our school
each year. Duties include collecting box top clippings from
families and finding ways to encourage kids to bring them to
school.
Fall Picnic
Major fundraiser for the school. Duties include organizing raffle or silent auction, along with planning activities for the families for a night of fun and entertainment.

Kids Night
A fun-filled night for the kids... parents drop off their children and parents can enjoy a quiet evening out. Duties include organizing activities, dinner and movie-night in the multi-purpose room for Neely students.
Spring Carnival
Major fundraiser for the school. Duties include organizing raffle or silent auction, along with planning activities for the families for a night of fun and entertainment.

Teacher Appreciation Week
Duties include organizing activities/special treats for teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. May include daily gifts, special announcements, breakfast,... to show how much we value our wonderful teachers.
Family Fun Night
Duties include organizing a dance for the girls (Valentine’s theme) and an activity for the boys in January (bowling night, skateland, lazer tag...). The main purpose would be to give Neely families an opportunity to collectively enjoy some
quality time with their family & friends.
Golf Tournament
Duties will include organizing our first annual golf tournament. More details to follow.
Summer Fun Movie Passes
Harkins offers summer discount movies passes for schools as a fundraiser. Duties will include organizing Neely as a school in the program for the first time.
Campbell’s Soup & Fresh & Easy
Easy fundraiser for the school. Duties include collecting labels from Campbell’s soup and Fresh & Easy receipts. Labels and receipts will be sent to the office for you to collect.
Used Books
Duties will include collecting books from the front office dropoff and organizing two book sales. The book sales will be during the Fall Picnic in November and the Spring Carnival in March.
Gardening Club
We have a small garden near the library on the west gate entrance. Duties will include maintaining the garden throughout the school year.
